Hibachi is a unique Japanese cooking art that has established itself as one of the favorites among Japanese cuisine. The food is prepared before your eyes on a heated steel grill and presented to you in a culinary show. Our specially trained chefs will delight you with their presentation of this artistic style of cooking.
The word "Hibachi" is literally translated to "fire bowl" hence early hibachis were made from dug out cypress wood lined with clay. Hibachis were originally used by the samurai class and the Japanese nobilty in the Heian Era (798 AD - 1185 AD). Later, the use of hibachi spread to the common people. Early hibachis have evolved over time to the contemporary hibachi table of today such as those at Kobi House and Noble House.
This distinctive style of dining has made its way to Cape Cod. Noble House and Kobi House proudly presents the enhanced style of this Japanese cooking art. We hope you will enjoy your dining experience.
